Meat and dairy products , as well as liquid laundry detergent are stumbling blocks to skipping plastic. I feel less guilty, however, about buying meat at the butcher counter (cannot compost the plastic lined paper) vs. meat packed in Styrofoam and film plastic. I wish I could bring a container for meat or cheese. Before COVID, a butcher offered to put the meat on a sheet of paper with price, weight that I would put in my own covered dish. IThis was nice, but saving packaging should be the normal and not the outlier. I’d also like bulk laundry detergent. Would that not be good? Reuse that bottle over and over?
