I visited a food coop that offers many products in bulk. For sure I'll go there more frequently now. But I was surprised to see many product offerings in conventional plastic packages. I also noticed some prices are sometimes 50% higher than in other conventional groceries. This means that plastic avoidance not only requires extra dedication...

For this challenge, I focused on bringing my own lunch with reusable containers and utensils.

Wow yes, never tough about how much I buy that comes in a plastic bag. Will switch pancake mix from Hungry Jack to another Pearl Mill as Hungry Jack comes in bag in a box where the other brand does not.

Snow day today and tomorrow won't be going out of the house so will make little progress

Talked to 2 pharmacies to see if they would simply refill my empty pill bottle for my cholesterol medicine rather than giving me a new bottle each time. Sadly both said no, regulations won't allow them to do that. CVS said, they checked with provider and their bottles are recyclable. I shared yes, #5 are recyclable but bottles may be too small...
