I chose to watch Ice On Fire. I learned that we as a planet need to make a massive change NOW to reduce the amount of carbon emissions we have created in our atmosphere. I knew this already, but it just solidified and brought it back to the forefront for me. I also learned that there are sooo many ways we could be changing this, but not enough...

Yes, I now take a re-usable bag with me when I go grocery shopping.

I noticed some of my children's toys are made with recycled materials. The brand is "Green Toys", and you can purchase at Target. We have a shape sorter for my toddler, and it is made from recycled milk jugs.

Try to educate them on the benefits of using re-usable products, and lead by example. Take out is the biggest outlet for disposables, so I would ask them that if they are ordering take out or if they are picking it up to bring it back home, to ask if thy would leave the plastics out just use your utensils that you have at home.

I cut down on the amount of packages that either go in the trash or need to be recycled.
