I watched Plastic Wars. I learned that plastics producers have been pushing recycling as a way to improve the public image of plastic.

I have been using my trash bag from the bathroom to scoop my kitty litter into to reduce my bag usage.

This weekend I picked up reusable produce bags from buy nothing. I feel like that deserves double the points - right?

I put enough cups, utensils, plates, and napkins in my kit for my family of four. I’ll keep it in my car for easy access when we’re out and about.

This month, rather than buying something new, I was able to finish sewing a new vest for my nephew out of second-hand fabric from my grandma! A generational piece of clothing that can hopefully last for many years to come! :)

The clothing industry as a whole is not very transparent about waste, sustainability, or ethical work conditions. It's unfortunate that a daily need like clothes can pose a moral and ethical dilemma.
