January 28 at 11:08 AMThe only thing I use plastic wrap for is storing half a can of wet cat food in the fridge for one night. I haven't found reusable lids yet for these little cans, so in the meantime I've switched to using a bit of tin foil.

January 27 at 9:20 AMWe were reusing plastic straws my mother bought three years ago. They were in terrible shape but I didn't want to make waste. I finally bought metal straws and my kids love the upgrade. Done with plastic straws forever.

January 27 at 8:54 AMIt's been tough to keep up the litter challenge since it's been cold and snowy, but I know the litter is still out there, especially around a corner store not far from me. I'm going to expand my neighborhood strolls to find more of it.

January 27 at 8:30 AMIt's hardest when I have oddly shaped items like strips of cooked bacon that I like to have on hand to add extra flavor to meals. But I've learned to store them differently by curving them into round containers and I don't know why I didn't think of it before.

January 27 at 8:24 AMIt literally brings me out into the streets! We are more visible to others when we are out taking care of the grounds around us, and we have more opportunities to meet and get to know our neighbors.
