my local coop has vegan floss in recyclable containers but it's not clear if the floss itself is compostable - probably?

Just a tip if you'd find it helpful. When I went into the office, I kept metal silverware at my desk, and just washed them after lunch each day. Hope that helps!

  • Reflection Question
Food Cook Meals with Zero Plastic Waste
Do an inventory of your kitchen to see how many single-use plastics you've used in the past. What are some low-waste or reusable alternatives to these commonly used products? What would your impact be if you switched all the single-use products from your inventory to reusable? Are there any items where it would be difficult to avoid plastic waste?

I have almost no single-use items. The one exception is "bars" - protein or granola bars. Unless I made my own, it's not possible to purchase those in bulk. All other snacks are in large bags which I portion out into reusable silicone bags to take with me.
