daily flossing is not a hard habit to maintain.  while willing to change to a compostable floss, doing so makes no difference to my daily flossing routine.

I feel like when I pick up litter and others see me doing it, it might help them to do the same more often. It helps people realize that we are all responsible for it, rather than hoping someone else will do it.

    Personal Care Collect My Contacts
Take a moment to estimate how many disposable daily contacts you may have used over the years. What would be your impact now of switching to a contact brand with a longer lifespan?

I use monthly contacts, not daily, but I never knew you could recycle the contacts and blister packs! This makes me so happy as I cringe every time I throw them in the trash. I have now started saving them in a container and will just recycle them at the end of the year or so.

My partner's birthday is coming up and I got him a gift certificate for time at a meditation retreat center. This feels so much more thoughtful than stuff. I also got him a used book, which is something we often give each other as gifts.

    Community Support a Sharing Economy
What are the benefits of a sharing economy? How has joining a sharing economy change the dynamics you have with the stuff you use and with your friends, family and/or neighbors?

I didn't join a tool library, but I take host many clothing swaps with my friends. During COVID winter, since we are able to be indoors or swap outside, I created a clothing swap bin that travels from home to home so that we can continue to share clothing that is no longer needed. I almost never buy clothes anymore!
