    stores - to minimize stealing

This challenge has been helpful in taking stock of what we as a household have been doing to reduce plastic use. Its also highlighting the challenges we face because we don't have packaging alternatives with some products. We need to see plastic use reduction at higher levels than just at the consumer level.

Generally, well. I have already participated in the zero-waste challenge so I am improving my plastic use. Still to do is to get even better in restaurants with to-go containers and buying all my purchases without single use plastics. I want to ask if I can encourage my grocer deli to provide choices in re-usable containers.

So far, so good. Trying to go beyond the challenges I selected. Went through my water bottle and reusable cup stash and sent two of them home with visitors so that they could avoid buying a single use beverage.

I am glad to use a resuable cup and not a disposable cup. It is super that I proactively remember to bring a cup. If I don't have a cup in my car when I go somewhere to obtain a beverage, that is a chanllenge.

They are an easier option, but I just need to make myself reach for my glass or metal reuseable containers.
