Each year as I participate in the plastic -free challenge I learn something new. One key fact I was reminded of, if you don't use all of your reusable bags, donate them and don't aquire more. Unused reusable bags are a waste and hurts the environment.

I found a very compact reusable bag I love. I have used it for over 6 years. This bag fits conveniently in my small handbag. I love to take it out and use it wherever I go shopping.
The reason it is so loved and used is that it is compact and strong.

    Pets Prepare Homemade Treats
Does making your own pet treats seem like a habit you can keep up in the long term? What else can you do to reduce your use of plastic packaging that can come from taking care of your pet's needs?

I like living in a community that cares about our earth. I like to protect the water. I like to keep the neighborhood free from litter, especially plastic that doesn't break down.
