I don't think I learned much, except that my habits have changed. For instance, the few times that I got food out, I tried to not accept disposable plastics (straws, cutlery, etc.) or extra disposables of other material (such as paper/cardboard). It is easy to say "I'll just recycle it if I don't use it", but it really is better to just not take it in the first place. Further, I have tried to think about plastic usage in other areas as well, even if they were not items I had chose for the challenge.

How difficult was this action for you? What made it easy or difficult?

Most stores have plastic bags rather than paper, and I reuse plastic store bags for garbage (rather than buying some other bag type). However, it is made easier by going to stores that I know offer paper bags, and by taking along my reusable canvas bag.

When is it hardest not to use a plastic bag? What can motivate you to stick to your goal in those cases?

When buying fruit/vegetables at the grocery store - I usually use the "free" plastic bags to keep items bundled. I try to bring in my own containers, but don't always remember
