Reflection QuestionAt Home Recycle Plastic BagsHas separating your plastic bags for recycling helped you identify how you might reduce how many you have? What are you doing differently now?
Peg Hirsch 2/26/2023 4:41 PMWow yes, never tough about how much I buy that comes in a plastic bag. Will switch pancake mix from Hungry Jack to another Pearl Mill as Hungry Jack comes in bag in a box where the other brand does not. -
Peg Hirsch 2/26/2023 4:38 PMSnow day today and tomorrow won't be going out of the house so will make little progress -
Reflection QuestionAt Home Watch a DocumentaryWhich documentary did you choose to watch? What did you learn?
Peg Hirsch 2/16/2023 6:37 PMThe Plastic Problem. I had no ideal the problem was that bad. I see plastic on walks but didn't realize it broke down into smaller pieces. But I can see now how it gets into the waterways. -
Reflection QuestionOn-the-go Skip the StrawHave you noticed a shift in your community as more messaging about reusable straws becomes mainstream? Cite some examples.
Peg Hirsch 2/09/2023 4:45 PMDidn't really notice much in my community until I went to lunch with daughter south of the cities and I was shocked when the water came with straws already in them. Never thought about telling them at time of order not to include straws. Don't recall the last time that happened here. -
