I cannot seem to locate bread that does not have some form of plastic on the packaging. I am not a baker, so does anyone have any ideas?

We've been enjoying our subscription to Laune Bread (https://launebread.com/). I think there are a number of other bread subscription services around town (Brake Bread comes to mind ... https://brakebread.com/)

We need an alternative to plastic bags to get fruits and veggies in grocery stores. I was watching an old episode of "Leave it to Beaver" and noticed they used small brown paper bags. Of course, they had attendants in the fruit and veggie isles to assist in weighing and labeling. What we could do in this country if we did not try to squeeze every cent to the bottom line.

We use some small reusable bags, but I totally agree. Wish it was just the norm (not to mention how  berries, etc are packaged 🙄)

    To make homemade dish soap:
Purchase liquid castile soap in glass container (28 g), add your own essential oil for scent (if desired)-3 to 5 drops, baking soda 2tsp, 600 ml of water. Place in glass jar and spoon out or pour 1/2 TBSP or as needed.

I made homemade hand soap from dish soap and lavender. It smells awesome and you actually do not have to use as much soap to clean your hands. Try it!

It is going really well. I sent a hotel-wide email reminding associates to avoid using plastic straws.
