Reflection QuestionOn-the-go Use Reusable BagsHow difficult was this action for you? What made it easy or difficult?
M G 2/16/2022 3:10 PMWhen you forget to bring your reusable bag back to the car, it's frustrating and you have to use a store bag then. Building a good habit and pattern to bring bags back out will be key to making this stick long-term. -

Reflection QuestionAt Home Avoid Harmful PlasticsDo some research on polystyrene and polyvinyl. How many items in your house already contain these toxins?
M G 2/02/2022 9:10 AMOne purposeful action we took today was not buying coffee out. (We do try to use our reusable cups when we can, but the drive-thru option doesn't really work with that method!) So by not getting coffee out, we avoided the plastic lid - which can be PP but can also be PS. -
Reflection QuestionAt Home Shop UsedWhat kinds of items have been easy for you to find used? What has been hard?
M G 2/01/2022 8:13 AMI typically shopped with 'ease' as the most important goal. If I was already at Target getting food, I could get a tablecloth or toy very easily and quickly. When shopping secondhand, it often feels like you need to understand what shops are available in your area and what their specialty is. Used clothing or furniture are fairly easy to find around here, though the quality and cost vary widely.
