Reflection QuestionFood Cook Meals with Zero Plastic WasteDo an inventory of your kitchen to see how many single-use plastics you've used in the past. What are some low-waste or reusable alternatives to these commonly used products? What would your impact be if you switched all the single-use products from your inventory to reusable? Are there any items where it would be difficult to avoid plastic waste?
Noah Danaher 2/02/2022 12:02 PMPaper towels & sponges! I could use a reusable, washable, wash cloth instead of buying the plastic wrapped Paper Towels or Sponges. -
Noah Danaher 1/27/2022 2:18 PMJust ordered some plastic free conditioner and shampoo bars, toothpaste alternatives, and degradable floss. Exciting! -
Noah Danaher 1/26/2022 6:24 AMThis challenged has made me curious on how to find recyclable alternatives to common household and bathroom items I use. This is one of those things! Biodegradable floss is something I didn't even think of until now. Check it out! The 9 Best Biodegradable Dental Flosses of 2022 (treehugger.com)

Krina Damien 1/26/2022 1:03 PMRight?! I have used Dental Lace (bought at Tare Market) in the past and have Bamboo Floss (from Bamboo Switch) currently. They work just as well as regular floss but without the waste! Also, toothpaste is another good area to consider. I have been using David's, which has an aluminum tube that you can recycle after it's empty. You can also get tabs and powder (other brands) as alternatives.
