It’s a really slow start.  I need to step it up.

I need to do more homework before I can finish using the calculator.  Trying to use it showed me that I have more to learn about how much plastic we are using as a family.

It’s easy to pick up litter when walking the dog, and it sets an example for the rest of the neighborhood.

It’s all about portion control.  We typically don’t need as much as the prepackaged snack amounts, and we can control homemade item quantities more easily.

We like to keep bottled water in our vehicles to use as needed; that’s the hardest usage to break, because it’s hard for us always to remember to bring water in the cars.  We still need to find a solution for this that works for us.
